I loved it here! We fished, cooked on our grill, pet the horses and even spent the night in our camper van with no issues. Cops came late at night but didn't kick us out. Beautiful!

A hidden gem and Frankly it's a beautiful view of the CT river and a beautiful place to take a family for a picnic. has built and grills that you can use if you bring charcoal.

Very nice little area. It has some grills and tables,and a very clean portable potty. It's very well maintained with ample parking. Nice place for the views and to go fishing. It has a fishing line collection tube a fishing platform with a couple benches.Nice place to fish or just go and eat lunch. Has a cool little gazebo as well that be nice for pictures. Look forward to going there again.

So today I stopped at the Cromwell landing near the river and it was a nice peaceful walk. I ended up walking pass the gated part where the stop sign was and headed out towards the back fields which were little bit overgrown but there is still a path. There is a huge downed tree that blocks the entire path way back there. I tried to find a way around it but had no luck there is an opening where you can look at the River from in the back. Definitely a bit muddy back. There. They also have picnic tables grills and out house.
