I've Loved this ferry since I was a child. On this day we took my grandchild across and she loved it too. Everyone is very friendly.

The Hadlyme ferry is worth the $6 fare . Whether you're going to Gillett castle or going to Chester CT. Both destinations are fun to visit, and the "MV SELDEN III" and her crew will get you there.

This is a great place to launch into the Connecticut River, close enough to paddle to Selden Island if you are powered by elbow grease.
