My mom, tour group and I have taken a tour bus going over the bridge in both directions. Going north to New Hampshire and south to New York City. This bridge has interstate 95 and US1 and crosses over the Connecticut River. The bridge is a concrete segmental bridge.

It’s a heavy traffic bridge but still has a bike/walking path, which allow for a nice view over the water.
I’ve also broken down on this bridge and there’s enough of a shoulder for a wide truck with only 3 wheels to go 5 mph for the length of it.
-1 star bc of the tire.

Nice park, on the mouth of the Ct. River. I go at least twice a week during the summer months to just sit, relax and enjoy the view of the boats going by and the trains crossing the bridge. Recommended things to bring: chairs, cooler, food, blanket and maybe an umbrella. There is a few picnic tables there but they usually fill up fast. Not sure if they allow small grills?
