I wouldn't called it ferry landing State Park. The DEEP fishing Pier was awesome for many years. I caught my largest striped bass there as well as a really fighting blue fish. I was hoping to go there one more time before I move out of the state. But since I move in 2 weeks but I'm not sure if it would happen. 50 degrees I might need a heater. But maybe next Monday okay let's give it a shot. The attached photos and video is great pics for fishing and firepit at my old house in Brookfield Connecticut and one of my old dogs. We loved him. Goodbye Connecticut. This New York City kid love you very much. Hello Columbus Ohio.

One of my favorite parks in the area. Is very clean, plenty of parking spots. From boardwalks is very nice views of Connecticut sound, railroad bridge and sarounding area.

I never remember how to get here or what it's called and it's a small spot, but it sure is beautiful! Any time of year, any time of day, gorgeous! The boardwalk is cool, I've seen Osprey nest on the train bridge in previous years and a lot of other birds around. I know people can fish off the boardwalk also. Very beautiful spot.

Little Ferry Landing State Park is a great place to take a short walk, bird watch, fish, and train spot. The railroad drawbridge spanning the river is not quite as active as the one near Niantic Bay Boardwalk, but I did see one train cross during my visit. One fun bonus feature at the park were its signs describing local history and ecology.

This is a great place to visit. There is a boardwalk set up as a fishing pier, with informative signage about the fish and wildlife in the area. At the end of the boardwalk is a raised observation deck.

The park itself is well maintained with ample parking, there are benches, picnic tables, and a small pavilion.

The railway drawbridge saw lots of use, both by trains and large boats, while I was there and was fascinating to see.

There were several people excersizing their dogs there, or fishing, or just walking and enjoying the day, and everyone was very friendly.
