Machodoc Creek is a 64 slip marina with deep water access to the Potomac River on the Upper Machodoc Creek in Historic King George County, Virginia. The marina was formerly operated as Dahlgren Marine Works and is still carried on some chart books under its former name. Dahlgren Marine Center purchased the marina in July of 2005. The marina is the former home of Elizabeth Quesenberry. This historic home was the first Virginia home visited by John Wilkes Booth after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
